– When creating a new Stripe account, you will need to enable 2-Factor authentication either by downloading the Google Authenticator App or by clicking “use another method”.
– Your business name during the account setup is what will be shown on your callers’ credit card statements so make sure it clearly represents the service you are offering to prevent confusion (e.g. YOUR_NAME Consulting).
– A website is required when setting up your Stripe account. If you do not have one, you can put the URL of a social media account associated with your business.
– You can uncheck the “display phone number” option during your Stripe account setup—otherwise your phone number will be displayed next to your business name on your callers’ credit card statements.”
